Do you provide sitter and companionship services?
Yes, however referring to this part of our services as a “sitter service” has been a common term for many, but we choose not to use this terminology. While we do “sit” with some clients, our caregivers are experienced to, whenever possible, involve their client in an effort to strengthen their independence (versus just sitting there).
We have some clients requiring minor or no assistance that seem to benefit greatly from just having a companion. This companionship provides encouragement for the clients to do things they would not otherwise do if alone. Hopefully improving the quality of the clients day.
What is Home Care?
We provide assistance with activities of daily living to individuals in their home setting. Assisted living at home. In a nut shell, we are family when family cannot be there.
How do I pay for Home Care?
We charge a per hour rate for our services and most of our clients are private pay but we do have other options. Our payment options are:
Pay privately
Long term care insurance
Veteran assistance.
SC Agency for Aging Vouchers
Alzheimer’s Association Vouchers
SC Respite Coalition Assistance
Medicaid
Don’t worry we will help to find a remedy in paying for your home care needs. We will deal with the stress of insurance companies and can bill them directly. We can also help you determine if any other assistance is available to you or your loved one.
Are you licensed to provide care at Hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities, or Nursing Homes?
Yes, we work with skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, hospice agencies and hospitals to make sure that our clients get all of the attention they deserve.
