A Remedy Home Care and Adult Day Center

A Remedy Home Care and Adult Day Center is owned and operated by a nurse with home health and home hospice experience. After years of serving our community and witnessing the difficulties facing patients and families, our founder dreamed of a better way.  Miranda Chalk, founded A Remedy Home Care with her love of the community and her passion to help patients and families in their homes. October 2022, A Remedy Home Care is expanded to include A Remedy Adult Day Center. 

A Remedy Home Care and A Remedy Adult Day Center provide care for veterans, senior citizens, and disabled adults in Spartanburg.  

However, Miranda found herself caring for her loved ones before she could accomplish her dream. Her father suffered a massive heart attack, which left him in a medically induced coma. Then, her father had two very invasive surgeries both with extensive hospital stays and long recovery times.  The next year her maternal grandmother become gravely ill and passed after an extended hospital stay. That same year, her mother suffered a stroke and was hospitalized in intensive care for a month. Upon discharge, her mother required extensive rehabilitation.

Miranda experienced firsthand the mental and physical exhaustion families go thru to care for a loved one. She decided to provide a better way to help families with the stress of being the sole caregiver.

Miranda felt her experience, expertise, and love for home care could bring much-needed relief to families in our community.
